Scout is available for Windows and macOS. Download the latest version from scoutvoice.ai/download.

Windows

1

Download and run the installer

Download the installer from scoutvoice.ai/download and run it. Windows may show a SmartScreen warning because Scout is new — click More info, then Run anyway.
2

Launch Scout

Scout starts automatically after install. You’ll see the Scout icon in your system tray.

macOS

1

Download and install

Download the .dmg from scoutvoice.ai/download, open it, and drag Scout to your Applications folder.
2

Launch Scout

Open Scout from your Applications folder. The app is signed and notarized by Apple, so it should launch without Gatekeeper warnings.
3

Grant permissions

Scout will show a permission guide for Accessibility and Microphone access. Both are required — see Permissions for details.

Automatic updates

Scout checks for updates on startup. Depending on your settings, it either prompts you to install the update or installs it automatically and restarts.

Uninstall

Windows

Open Settings → Apps → Installed apps, find Scout Voice, and click Uninstall. This removes the app and its shortcuts. App data is stored in %LocalAppData%\ai.scoutvoice.app — delete that folder to remove all settings and cached data.

macOS

Drag Scout from your Applications folder to the Trash. To remove app data, delete ~/Library/Application Support/ai.scoutvoice.app.
