English vs Auto-detect

English — Optimized for English dictation. All features work: voice commands, vocabulary matching, question mark correction, and case transforms. Auto-detect — The speech engine automatically detects the language of each phrase. This is useful if you switch between languages during dictation.
Some English-specific post-processing (like question mark correction) only runs when a phrase is detected as English. Core features like voice commands and vocabulary matching run regardless of the detected language.

Magic Edit sends your spoken instruction to AI as transcribed. For best results, speak instructions in English.
