Permissions
- Microphone — Required for capturing audio.

- Accessibility — Required for text injection and hotkey detection. Scout can’t type into apps without this.
Network
Scout streams audio to the speech engine over an encrypted connection. Outbound HTTPS is also required for authentication, billing, and dictionary sync. No special firewall rules are needed beyond standard web traffic on port 443.
